Great Mexican food, Excellent Service, Fair Price Spending a few days in Scottsdale and returning from mountain biking, we allowed TripAdvisor to steer us here for Mexican food and left totally satisfied. Read on for details. Located in a shopping plaza and flanked by other eateries, the Habaneros MG&C looks a bit like a dinner though with a Mexican flare. We were seated and served by a pair of friendly women who spoke with a south-of-the-border accent, something I considered a positive sign. We ordered and our food arrived quickly. The guac+salsa with chips was beautiful and delicious: a big bowl of crisp multi-colored chips with a dish of chunky fresh guac and two dishes of salsa, one red and one green. The salsas could have been chunkier, but were flavorable with pleasant heat. The carne asada burrito was one of the better burritos I've had: thick-ish cuts of moist flavorful, tender and juicy steak with a tangy pico de gallo sauce. The vegetarian in the group enjoyed his veggie fajita. What can I say...it was great for what it was meant to be: fairly priced Mexican food. The service was great, too. I'm sorry I'm leaving Scottsdale or I'd be returning here often.
